香港生まれ。東北大学大学院文学研究科博士課程修了。香港中文大学文学部（哲学科、日本研究学科）講師を経て現職。専門は哲学（日本哲学、東アジアの文学と思想、間文化哲学）。『Tetsugaku Companions to Japanese Philosophy』（Springer）共同編集長、『希哲雑誌』編集長。
